The Kitopi Sports Tournament (KST) has grown into one of our favorite traditions that brings Kitopians together for a few weeks of fitness, fun, and healthy competition. This event goes beyond the games and is an opportunity to step outside the office, engage with colleagues and get to know each other in a different way.
Bringing People Together
One of the key aspects of the tournament is how it encourages collaboration between Kitopians across various departments and teams—such as Operations, Marketing, or Product.
With the growing focus on physical and mental wellbeing, the Sports Tournament serves as a platform to promote health in an engaging and inclusive way. It’s a collective effort to prioritize wellness while fostering that team spirit. Whether it’s the adrenaline of scoring a goal or the simple joy of being part of the supportive crowd, the tournament offers something for everyone. By the end of the day, the energy is contagious, and our Kitopians leave the field refreshed, and energized.
A Growing Tradition
In just two years, the Kitopi Sports Tournament has seen the participation of over 1400 Kitopians across 150+ teams.
Coming from small beginnings and little interest, it has grown to include people from different markets, with more participation than we ever expected. Over time, traditions have naturally emerged—ranging from annual awards for the players to the unique rituals that define each year’s event. These little moments not only make the tournament feel special but, more importantly, make us feel more connected than ever before.
KST goes beyond the field—it’s about coming together, having fun, and celebrating the amazing community we’ve built together. As we continue to expand, so does the tournament, becoming a defining tradition within Kitopi. Yet at its heart, it remains a simple, powerful way to bring people together, stay active, and strengthen the bonds that make Kitopi the best place to work.
