Earlier this year, Kitopi crossed the two year mark. It was amazing to see all of our 1200 employees across our kitchens and corporate offices getting together to celebrate - not just the obstacles we had overcome but especially, the future. Afterall, it isn’t easy doing something that has never been done before, especially not at our scale.
Kitopi was founded on January 2nd, 2018 by four friends and innovators who believed there was immense opportunity in the food tech industry to revolutionize the way people access food. Kitopi stands for ‘Kitchen Utopia’ and is a state-of-the-art managed cloud kitchen platform that partners with restaurants to expand their delivery reach.
The global cloud kitchen market was valued at USD 0.65 Billion in 2018 , is projected to reach USD 2.63 Billion by the year 2026, at a CAGR of 17.2% - thanks to the rise of online food delivery applications and the increasing use of mobile and smart phones for food ordering.
