Earlier this month, we beta launched our groceries offering Shop Kitopi.
A one-stop shop for all your grocery essentials and food items, Shop Kitopi promises quality products delivered all over Dubai in just 60 minutes.
It’s a challenging time for us and for so many businesses all around the world, but what we’ve also found is a golden opportunity.
Groceries always made business sense given that it’s a natural extension to our core business. Kitopi powers more than 100 restaurants globally every day, so we have the supply chain - high quality produce readily available at any time.
Shop Kitopi offers customers more than 800 products and we’re working hard on increasing this based on incoming requests from customers. We offer pantry staples such as fruits, veggies, protein, dairy, organic goods, as well as the fun stuff i.e. frozen or pre-prepped items from your favorite restaurants.
We’ve found that zoodles from Right Bright Express, frozen breaded chicken fingers from NKD and marinated chicken from Tawook Nation for instance are among the more popular dishes.
We’re customer obsessed and what we’re finding out at our customer experience hub is that people are really enjoying receiving their orders in 60 minutes - no stepping out of the house and queuing and no more waiting for hours. So speed of delivery is a promise we’re working tirelessly to keep.
Our tech plays a big part in this, our in-house software helps us be as efficient as possible - from the time an order comes through, to alerting our staff and by the time it’s packed safely and ready to be picked up for delivery, we’re looking at an average end-to-end time of 45 minutes.
With our recent move into our fit-for-purpose warehouse, we’re excited about the coming months to come.
