We recently had the pleasure of hosting 12 MBA students from the London Business School (LBS) on a trip to the Kitopi offices. The students, who are studying in the fields of VC and Tech, visited the Kitopi offices as part of their plan to learn more about the variety of tech start-ups across the MENA region, before their graduation.

Jihad Bou Nasr, our regional MD, led the conversation, covering Kitopi's history, growth trajectory, and operating model. Our CEO, Mohamad Ballout, also shared his insights on the VC/Tech industry and discussed the challenges of scaling up a tech start-up in different markets with the students.
Following the presentation, the students had the opportunity to network with our executives and enjoy a food tasting experience. Here is a little bit more about what they had to say about the day:
"Visiting Kitopi's Dubai office with London Business School was an enlightening experience. The co-founder's presentation on Kitopi's remarkable journey and inspiring vision captivated us, leaving a lasting impression of their boundless ambition and innovative spirit. Looking forward to seeing their aspirations and vision come to reality. I'm certain Kitopi is going to, not just solve major problems, but also keep disrupting the space."
- Aswin Narayan (Masters in Finance Class of 2023)
"The visit to Kitopi was exceptionally interesting in that we witnessed how one of the torchbearers of the ecosystem in the region is working towards establishing their presence as well as looking outwards towards the rest of the world. We were lucky enough to meet the founders and therefore experience the vision and caliber of thinking in the organization."
- Stefanos Zimomas (MBA Class of 2024)
"Our meeting with Kitopi was truly inspirational, led by a one-on-one interaction with their founder, Mo. Kitopi’s unique vision and culture were embodied throughout the organization, office design, and value chain."
- Angad Dugal (MBA Class of 2024)
As one of the fastest growing companies in the Middle East, Kitopi’s mission of satisfying the world’s appetite extends beyond food, and into sharing its insights with those who are keen to explore. With Learning and Development as a key pillar at the organization, partnering with universities and schools, and speaking to bright minds, helps us to continue fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, curiosity and innovation.
It was an incredible experience to host the London Business School students at Kitopi's Dubai office. We would like to thank the students for taking the time to visit us and wish them the best of luck in the future!
I found this article on LBS MBA students exploring VC and tech culture at Kitopi’s Dubai office really insightful it’s inspiring to see such real-world connections being made. While preparing for an online exam on innovation ecosystems, I quietly wondered how invaluable research paper editing & proofreading could be in refining my own work under deadline pressure. It goes to show how meaningful support academic or professional can elevate outcomes in any environment.
Really inspiring to read how London Business School students got such direct exposure to VC and tech culture at Kitopi. Experiences like these bridge theory with real-world learning. It reminds me of how valuable it can be to buy blog content that captures similar insights for wider audiences. I once noticed PaysomeoneTo highlight this approach in a thoughtful way.
This exchange gave me a big insight: future business leaders need more than textbook knowledge; they must go to the industry frontier to understand the latest tech and business models. If you're struggling with naming, why not try using Wheel of Names?
Seeing Kitopi actively collaborate with academia and support talent development shows they have not only business vision but also a sense of social responsibility. Thumbs up for Kitopi! Now, let me introduce a really fun time-killing game called Block Breaker.
I'm curious about the specific impact this visit had on the students' future career choices. Did anyone develop a strong interest in VC or food tech because of it? By the way, try Ragdoll Archers for super fun archery gameplay when you want to relax!
